CC Crow - Builders-in-Scale
Laser-cut real wood shingles and embossed sheet cardboard tiles and shingles.
THe CC Crow range of sheeting materials are a fantastic way to create ultra-realistic looking shingles and tiles for buildings PLUS they are incredibly quick and easy to use.
The shingles are cut by laser into real wood sheets with the grain running in the appropriate direction. The wood itself is backed with a very sticky compound that allows the shingles to be peeled off their packaging backing and simply pressed down onto a blank roof surface to create an instant row of shingles or tiles. You then simply add the next layer above it and work upwards to the roof crest.
The results, as shown on our wargames tudor style house below, are stunning but would would take dozens if not hundreds of hours placing them individually takes less than an hour.

Additionally the tiles or shingles do not need to be painted but as they are textured they can be inked, stained or painted to produce alternate colours of to highlight the wood grain or embossed pattern.
We include a variety of traditional railway gauge scales although ALL of those shown are ideal for 28mm wargames buildings - you can mix and match various scales to produce a more random tile effect and the larger O scale tiles are often favoured by fantasy gamers.
The "Hexagonal Victorian Shingles" also make for excellent roofing for Elf-style buildings.
Rustic Oak Shingles

Randomly length and width shingles with a fine grain and naturally coloured.
The "O" and "S" scale can be mixed for variety or they can be used on their own - both are suitable for 28mm wargames buildings although "S-scale" is precisely 25mm scale.
