Posters for 15mm gaming.
The advertising poster was just starting to appear widely in the late 20's and early 30's and in Europe and much of the World advertising was done by painting on to the sides of buildings rather than the construction of advertising billboards as was more common in the USA.
Quite often entire sides of building were covered with advertisements for anything from soap to airplanes, cigars to bananas, circuses to the olympics.
Even where paper-printed posters did proliferate they would be glued to the same buildings building up their own layer-after-layer of old adverts. It was quite common for old posters and painted signs to remain long after the event they were advertising was long since history and even today you can see faded adverts for the Monaco races of 1932 or one of the various World Fayres.
Advertising from the 1930's:
A wide ranging set of posters produced in the run up to the Second World War - these posters are ideal for attaching to the sides of buildings, whole or ruined and ideally should be weathered to look as through they are very aged.

Re-sized to work with 15mm buildings these are authentic posters from the period printed out on standard paper at 1200DPI.
Instructions for use: Cut out and attach using PVA or similar. To hide the white edges of the poster run a black or dark gray pen along the edge before applying.
Aging can be done with tea or weathering powders, washes and similar.

Telegraph Poles

A HO scale railway kit that is spot on for 15mm and 20mm wargaming. There are 20 poles in the pack, all done in a wooden style, 10 uprights and then 10 uprights with angled supporting poles. Height of the poles is 110mm and diameter around 2mm - you can easily drill a 1mm into their base, insert a steel pin or wire then use that to place them onto a terrain board or table - alternatively just mount them on some plasticard (See our sheet materials page). Pack also includes nylon line for mimicking wire.
AW Says: This is a good value pack which is better than N-scale for 15mm gaming, N-scale telegraph poles are too short for terrain uses although they might be OK for adding to figure stands. We use these packs when making 15mm tables.
Security Fencing:
Fabulous little kit that enables you to build up Chainlink security fencing for either 15mm or 20mm wargames. Kit includes large number of concrete style fence posts, "wire" in the form of a small scale netting, 0.5mm wire for top slots and components to make various gates. Can make a larger area or length dependent on far apart you place the 40-odd posts
Example below for 15mm shows what can be done with this kit in enclosing a 25cm square (1 meter around) compound:

Dornaplas Gravestones

This is a set of plastic gravestones including cruciform gravestone markers and similar. They are nominally "n gauge" but i've used these a lot for gravestone for 15mm and they are fine especially when put on the end of a little lump of freshly dug soil!
A single gravestone is about 5mm wide and 10mm tall and there is a total of 36 in the pack for just £3.50p
